Great for simmering soups, stocks, and bulk vegetables, the Winco SST8 stock pot has a thick base, and because the diameter is relatively small and the sides are tall, this vessel preserves liquids to maximize flavor transfer. Made of stainless steel, the pot resists warping and streamlines cleaning. While stainless steel doesn??t heat up evenly, the tri-ply bottom has an aluminum core to enhance heat transfer. This pot is induction compatible, and a lid is included.
